Via Heart Project does not offer certification classes.

For those requiring a certification, please contact a training provider directly.

CPR/AED Non-Certification Classes

Via Heart Project provides non-certified hands-only CPR and AED classes to Via clients in Northern California.  They include a brief overview of emergency situations, a tutorial on how to do hands-only CPR, an AED demonstration and may or may not include practice on a mannequin.The length is approximately 30-60 minutes, and class size is flexible. Your local fire department may offer discounted training to your community, we suggest reaching out to them as well.

While the different organizations have varied curriculums, classes are usually for approximately 10 participants and range from 2 to 6 hours in length. Online and hybrid options are also offered. Certifications are valid from 1 to 2 years, depending on the provider.

Class options include CPR/AED, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP), Heat Related Illness (HRI), and more.
