About Laurie Bieraugel

Laurie has served her community for more than 25 years as a registered nurse for Invasive Cardiology and Electrophysiology care. In her off hours, she is passionate about raising awareness regarding the value of bystander CPR and how to use an AED. Laurie manages the 12-lead EKG station for the Teen Heart Screening events throughout Northern California.
Interesting Facts About Laurie:
- She can only whistle backwards.
- She took second place at a middle-weight division body building competition. (decades ago!)

Her dog, Rocket, died of SCA at the age of two from congenital heart disease. This is not how or why she is crazy about Via Heart Project but a cosmic coincidence, she’d say.
