About Janet Sohal
Board Member
Janet Sohal, DNP, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, is currently the Regional Director, Nurse Scholars Academy for Northern California Regional Patient Care Service and oversees Magnet initiatives, the Research Innovation Academy and Academic Nursing Leadership programs. She has been in nursing for over 35 years and has held a variety of positions which include her clinical experiences in the ICU, joining the nationally acclaimed patient centered care program Planetree, a Staff Developer, Nursing Clinical Education, Leadership Development, Performance
Improvement and as served as academic faculty.
Interesting Facts About Janet:
- Met the Queen of England when I was very young and waved at her!
- Was an Avid field Hockey player and played for the Women’s Coventry Team in the UK
