Disposing of old or used AED supplies and AEDs

Batteries and AEDs are considered electronic waste and should be sent to a designated electronic recycling/waste facility, according to your local E-waste guidelines.

Electrode pads can be disposed of in the regular trash. If the pads have blood or other bodily fluids on them, please dispose of them as biological waste by placing them into a bio hazard or other plastic bag before placing them in the trash.
